Your Journey

Initial Skin Check:

  1. Consult: Listen and take a complete clinical history
  2. Scan: Comprehensive full-body scan by a specialisted doctor
  3. Record: Specific sunspot characteristics are stored in a secure patient database software with all important imagery and data, including dermoscopy or microscopic images in full HD quality, to ensure we don’t miss any risk of change in future. Each skin lesion will also be recorded with macroscopy location images in software to avoid missing the skin lesion location.
  4. Evaluateion and diagnosis: Each individual spots’ key metrics employing ABCD Analysis - Asymmetry, Borders and Areas, Colours and Variability, Diameter at the end of consult. The doctor reviews images in the context of all relevant patient history data.

Treatments after the skin check:

If any suspicious lesions are detected during the skin cancer check, the doctor will discuss with the patient the best treatment plan and appointments can ne made with reception.

Follow-ups

After any procedures, the wounds were closely monitored and evaluated by our doctors and nurses until they showed significant improvement and reach a state of complete recovery.

Future Skin Check

The doctor will add a reminder onto your file, to remind you when the next check up is due either 3, 6 or 12 months. Follow up skin checks are based on the Australian guidelines.
