After-Hours Care

• For care outside of normal opening hours, patients are advised of the following options:
• In the event of a medical emergency, patients should call 000 or attend the nearest hospital emergency department.
• For urgent, non-life-threatening medical concerns, patients may contact an approved after-hours medical service such as Medicare Urgent Care Clinic
• Healthdirect Australia (1800 022 222) is available 24 hours a day for free health advice from registered nurses.
• Information about after-hours care arrangements is also provided:
• Via the practice voicemail message
• On our website
• At reception
• These arrangements ensure continuity of care and access to medical advice when the practice is closed.
